Independent Daily Departing Vacations
Your Choice of 'Self-Drive' or 'Seat-in-Coach'

Explore New Zealand Vacations are flexible, daily departing tours designed for independent travelers who prefer to travel without the structure of a group tour. Modules are unescorted but all travel arrangements are pre-booked for your convenience and ease of travel. This is especially important during the busy summer season.

DESIGNED FOR INDEPENDENT TRAVEL
As independence and flexibility are the major advantages please note that you will travel with different drivers and passengers each day. MEAL PLAN Meal plans are also available to suit individual requirements. Room Only for those who wish to make their own arrangements or Breakfast can be included (see individual tour pricing). Dinner prices available on application.

TRANSPORTATION CHOICES
We are proud to work with two of New Zealand’s premier and Qualmark quality-endorsed tourism operators – Maui Rentals and Great Sights.

Self-Drive with Maui Rentals
Explore at your own pace in a well maintained rental car from Maui Rentals. All packages featured include an Intermediate car, however you may want to consider a larger car for added comfort. Refer to page 34 for vehicle specifications and insurance details. Insurance is not included and must be paid upon commencement of your hire. Some tours include an Avis Rent-a-Car: please refer to back page for terms and conditions.

Seat-in-Coach with Great Sights
Enjoy the luxury of Great Sights as you travel in armchair comfort. Great Sights also offers skilled and experienced drivers who provide informative commentary.

Note that in areas where Great Sights does not operate, scheduled coach services are used. These scheduled coach services operate with reduced commentary in comparison to the Great Sights service and are operated on the following sectors: Rotorua to Auckland; Rotorua to Taupo to Napier to Wellington; Queenstown to Greymouth (and reverse); Christchurch to Dunedin (and reverse); Dunedin to Queenstown (and reverse); Greymouth-Nelson-Blenheim-Christchurch (and reverse). ‘Seat-in-Coach’ packages include arrival transfers on the first day.

FLEXIBILITY AND CHOICE OF ACCOMMODATION
We offer 3 levels of accommodation. Select from Standard (3 star), Quality (3½ to 4 star) or Superior (4+ star) hotels for the duration of your stay. You can also spend extra time at any point along the way – please refer to the Supplementary Accommodation below for details.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS
Arrival transfers are included in your Explore New Zealand Vacation. Additional meet and greet transfer costs below. Please note that Single Supplement prices may apply. US$ per person – Airport to City (or City to Airport): Auckland $49 Rotorua $11 Wellington $14 Christchurch $16 Queenstown $13

DOCUMENTATION
Your transfer driver will present you with your documentation on arrival. Otherwise, documentation will be available from hotel reception on the first night of your tour.
